Founded in 1983 as an offshoot of a 100-year-old European bedding firm, DOWNLITE is the largest and fastest growing major U.S. luxury down-filled bedding manufacturer. We make bedding products for fine hotels around the world and for most major U.S. bedding retailers. These products include natural and synthetic-filled comforters, blankets, pillows, feather beds, mattress toppers, decorative pillow inserts, and bedding accessories.
The vast majority of our products are manufactured at either our Mason, Ohio headquarters, or our plant in Middletown, Indiana. Others are produced at joint venture facilities in Europe and Asia.
We are the largest U.S. down and feather processor. Our Rest Assured™ system cleans down at twice the U.S. government-required standard, making it not just hypoallergenic, but sterile. Beyond using our down and feathers in bedding, our natural fills are used in furniture, sleeping bags and in branded outerwear.

Begin creating the experience by adding one of our luxurious feather beds to the mattress. Next, lay a fitted sheet over the feather bed and tuck around the mattress.
